Caitlyn Jaryszak (K '25, Psychology)
Caitlyn is a senior psychology major and studio art minor. She is interested in child development, neurodiversity, and psychological research. She hopes to pursue a master’s degree in Occupational Therapy following her graduation from Kenyon and to eventually pursue a career as a pediatric occupational therapist. Outside of the lab, she spends her time working as the student intern for Kenyon’s Alumni and Parent Engagement Office. She also volunteers at Head Start in Mount Vernon, does photography for theater and dance at Kenyon, and is the secretary of Psi Chi, the psychology honor society.
Blythe Karras (K '24, Psychology, Neuroscience)
Hollen Knoell (K '25, Psychology, Classics)
Hollen (she/her) is a senior in Dr. Andrew Engell's lab. She is a double major in psychology and ancient Greek and a minor in mathematics. She has been in the lab since her sophomore year and is interested in examining the intersection between chronic stress and cognitive functions using EEG. Specifically, she is investigating the relationship between facial memory and trait anxiety and how theta oscillations may mediate this association. After graduation, Hollen plans to pursue a PhD in psychology or neuroscience. Outside of the lab, Hollen sound designs and stage manages theater productions on campus.
Orelle Mangiani (K '26, Psychology)
Orelle is a junior psychology major and Arabic minor. She hopes to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology after Kenyon. Outside of academics, Orelle is a Peer Health Educator, Campus Mediator, and plays recreational basketbal.
Zach Meyers (K '25, Psychology, Japanese)
Benji Rothman (K '26, Psychology)
Benji is a junior psychology major and art history minor. He is interested in social neuroscience, psychodynamics, neurodiversity, and psychopharmacology. After graduating from Kenyon, he hopes to pursue a PhD in clinical psychology or neuropsychology. Outside of the lab he has researched social psychology with Professor Murnen for three semesters, and has completed a summer of Kenyon Summer Science Scholars, investigating minority stress theory. He also takes an interest in studying Kabbalah and Jewish mysticism.
