Introductory NMR and MRI with Paul Callaghan


In this excellent series of videos, Paul Callaghan demonstrates the basics of NMR and MRI.

Note that he is using a table-top NMR system that does not have a static B0 field. Rather he creates a “pre-polarizing pulse” prior to each experiment. This is achieving the same thing as B0 in a superconducting magnet.
